Cheat Code is a show that exists in multiple spaces over different times, putting the emphasis on the engagement between viewer and painting rather than on how an exhibition is conventionally put together and presented.

How it works

A painting is sent to the host and lives in their domestic space for a couple of months.

Its placement is decided by the host.

The host sends a documentary photograph of the painting in its space.

The documentation is collected and shown as a larger developing body of work.
